Achievements

We love to give Louisville Dolphins swimmers the opportunity to compete, make progress, and feel pride in their accomplishments. All events are carefully timed and scored, and the top finishers in each race receieve ribbons, medals, or trophies, depending on the meet. Additionally, the winner of each heat can claim a free popsicle from concessions.

We give special recognition to swimmers who put in the effort to continually improve their best times and those who challenge themselves to master each of the individual events. Every time that a swimmer sets a new best time, they receive a printed Speeding Ticket the following Friday after practice, and they can show the ticket to get a piece of candy and an extra "good job" from our parent volunteers. Those who post legal times in each of the 7 individual events receives the SWAAT Team pin at the Awards Ceremony at the end of the season.

Then there are the select few swimmers who are able to set Team Records or even BVSSL League Records. We all love watching those kids swim, new records are announced along with meet results whenever they are set, and records are posted on the physical record board at Memory Square Pool at the conclusion of each swim season.
